June 11, 2024 Conservatives personalize their view of politics. Doing that is totally subjective. There is no place for subjectivity in the general, social domain. People have a right to expect objectivity in society. That's because subjectivity disconnects from everything but extremely narrow realities which cannot be determined by most persons and run into conflict with everyone else's concerns. By contrast, objective realities are everyone's business. The plea of conservatives is that they have problems which they are going to fix. Everyone does. But the fixes need to take all realities and everyone's concerns into account. Conservatives despise that standard. "Good of all" is supposedly some sort of communism that destroys the social order. Objective reality is that which originates outside a person's mind. Subjective reality originates inside a person's mind. The universe that defines life and solutions to problems exists outside persons' minds. Subjective realities cannot be adequately aligned upon the universal realities due to vagaries and values which are beyond evaluation. These truisms jump out from the methods conservatives use in promoting their concerns. They need to destroy someone or something to impose their subjective concerns onto others. Their methodology is not workable; and it shows the problem of contradictions that result from subjectivity being imposed upon persons who cannot translate it into objective realities. That means conflicts are the result of subjectivizing social realities as solutions to problems. The conflicts result in persons with power overwhelming powerless persons, which conservatives convert into a war against the lower classes. Conservatives put themselves in conflict with the universe through their subjectivity. They always lose doing that. The universe never gets defeated. The more conservatives lose, the more hostile they get in their attempts to defeat enemies.
