Incompetence is not inability. Abilities are always quite limited. It's inability to do what is attempted and expected.

The reason why Incompetents attempt and expect to do more than they can is a misinterpretation of the wizardry of power. Power is mongered by incompetent losers who try to be winners by prevailing against other persons. Prevailing creates domination, the basis of all corruption. Corruption is that which destroys life.

So power mongers expect destructivity to solve their problems. They don't care whether it solves anyone else's problems, because self-centeredness is part of the process of mongering power.

Of course a more positive label is required for corruption; so power mongers view their purpose as being winners rather than power mongering destroyers. As winners, they supposedly solve problems. Fighting a war against the lower classes and everyone who is vulnerable is supposedly solving problems, because losers drag everyone down with them.

Reagan said, if you need to explain, you are already a loser. He assumed being a winner is the purpose in life and rationality is for fools. Rationality requires explanation of claims.

What corrupters lose at is producing rationality. So they tell themselves that rationality is for losers, while they fight a war against rationality.

Self-centeredness is an inherent part of that scheme, because no one gains from incompetent destroyers making themselves winners by prevailing against other persons.

In their attempts to be winners through destructivity, power mongers fight a losing battle. Fighting a losing battle generates more determination to be winners. So corrupters destroy everything that can be destroyed and assume the result is caused by enemies who are jealous of them for being winners.

All elements of constructivity are eradicated in the process of corrupters being winners. Constructivity is quite demanding; so it requires a lot of rationality including truth, knowledge, justice, science and engineering.

Fighting a war against rationality results in all elements of constructivity disappearing from view for corrupters. They assume everything comes out of nowhere as the wizardry of power mongers. Power does that to their thought processes. It creates positive assumptions for destructivity and replaces the demanding elements of constructivity with the degradations required to prevail and dominate.
