Propaganda replaces rationality, as incompetent power mongers take over the social structures. Trying to sell corruption requires propaganda, not the rationality that exposes corrupters for what the are.

A defining characteristics of propaganda is that no one is allowed to question it. Not allowing criticism shows that the promoters of propaganda know it is not correct, while the absence of criticism prevents alignment upon objective reality.

One wonders if propaganda looked the same during the 1930s, when Nazism was taking form, as it looks now days, because the result is the same—Nazism replacing rationality.

The most visible property of the new propaganda is the pretense of wisdom, while decadence is imposed. There are two major examples: fake technology and lied-about economics.

Fake technology includes so-called renewable energy, which is destroying energy systems; electric vehicles, which most persons cannot afford and destroy rare minerals and so-called artificial intelligence which is stupid and irrelevant in mixing complexities improperly.

The fake technology is being imposed as the most progressive thing society has ever done, while destruction of energy systems and resources are becoming highly visible.

Lied-about economics is saying that a normal economy is too hot and chopping it down with higher interest rates claiming the chopped up economy is a marvelous result. The resulting fake economics is being argued as if the numbers were unquestionable, while no one can get out from under the overwhelming ruin. The only thing frauds can say about the wonderous economy is that unemployment is 3.9%. Most people are already employed. What is the economy doing for them? With no explanation possible, a motive is apparent for imposing fraud.

The degree of fraud says the whole significance is in the motives. Motives are highly subjective and illusive. Yet they are destroying the social order. So saying something about motives is demanded however difficult that subject is to describe.

An element of the problem is the degree of desperation. The more corrupters fail, the more desperate they are in trying to succeed. And the more desperate, the more visible the corruptness. What then are the imposers trying to accomplish?

One visible element of the motives is that the imposers of the frauds are trying to cling to the notion that they are the true protectors of what is right and must not be opposed with criticism. They do not allow criticism.

An element of that problem is incompetence. That means the deciders start down the wrong path and must succeed to prevent anyone from finding out how stupid they are.

When incompetents go down the wrong path, the reason is always an attempt to cling to power as the test of rightness. How could all those power mongers be wrong? They always are wrong, or they wouldn't be mongering power to overwhelm rationality. Their followers have never figured that out.

Incompetents use power as a justification mechanism. Supposedly, screwing everything up doesn't matter, when power is more important. The decadence that power mongers produce is supposedly a small price for a larger purpose; and mongering power is supposed to be the highest of purposes. Why would power mongers have all that power, if they weren't superior persons who know what they are doing?

That purpose is visible in the attempts to impose fake superiority, as the decadence becomes visible. Fake science and technology, and now a fake economy, are more and more dogmatically imposed with authority and fewer explanations, as frauds acquire more and more problems.

Another element of the motive factor is that near the origins and top of the heap are power mongering schemers conspiring to control dupes by using known frauds. Relativity is a known fraud at the top of the heap in physics. Only the newcomers and low-levels don't know it. Whenever physicists acquire the freedom to criticize, which means after they retire, relativity is always their focus, since relativity is such an obvious fraud. What relativity shows is how successful power mongers exploit known frauds for control of gullible sycophants.

At a broader social level, the most extreme example is space activity. A helicopter on Mars is an impossibility, because there is only one percent as much atmosphere on Mars as on Earth, while helicopters are marginally functional on Earth. Helicopters won't go up the highest mountains, because the atmosphere gets too thin for them. Of course lighter helicopters could be produced, but not one percent as much, particularly when using battery power, which is an extremely heavy source of power, as dupes are finding out.

What fake space activities show is that the more extreme the absurdities, the more resistant to criticism. Isn't that why the Nazis pretended to be creating an Arian race? The Nazis stated that principle and applied it.

Would persons who lie about space projects lie about electrifying transportation or the economy? Nazism is what is at stake. The path to Nazism is well underway.
