November 6, 2024 Debunking is what journalists do to get opposition out of their way. It erases the need for explanations. Supposedly, someone already took care of everything. It's a degenerate method of communicating. If it were unquestionable truth, why say debunking? Because a whole lot of something is supposed to be flushed down the drain with the word debunking. It's not applied to simple things which are easy to explain; it's applied to oceans of realities which journalists cannot explain. It's a railroad job on the public, because journalists are the only source of information on a lot of subjects, particularly the most complex subjects. To trash that necessity with a one word slogan says too much about the deteriorated state of society. The term debunk was not being used in a noticeable way several decades ago, because it is too much of an afront to proper journalism and insult to human needs for information. It became the quick fix for social complexities which were in the way of motives being promoted. Promoting motives created the political polarization that is recognized as a breakdown of politics. There is no excuse for that result occurring, because rationality does not create polarization. Rationality replaces the forces of polarization with the complexities that properly represent social problems. Problems cannot be solved by replacing realities with forces. Whoever prevails through force overwhelms society without solving problems. Getting Force And Violence Wrong Corruption As A Higher Standard
