It's impossible to differentiate between the sin and ignorance of corruption, because they are interdependent. The combination jumps out in the nutrition area, because nutrition is the most complex and contradictory element of biology. What nutritionists have to say about human nutrition is shameless, galling fraud. The reason why nutritionists say to eat less red meat is never clearly stated. There is some muddle about maybe not being digested well and maybe not the right types of fats. The truth is red meat is the only reliable source of protein available to humans in being safely farmed and containing most vitamins and minerals. Fish are very low in vitamins and minerals and limitedly available. Plants are the worst possible source of protein on a significant scale. So of course, eat more beans trumps WW-III in importance now days. Beans should be avoided if at all possible except for the few that can be sprouted. The first reason is because they are almost indigestible. The starch, proteins and fats are glued together about like concrete making beans indigestible even when cooked. So acid must replace enzymes for much of the digestion of beans. The result is very slow digestion with extreme fat production. It circumstantially appears that the acid oxidizes glucose making it unavailable for immediate energy and channeling it into fat production. Some of the amino acids are probably damaged by the acid also resulting in them going into fat instead of proteins. The second point of non-logic is the unclear implication that animal fat should be avoided and replaced with plant forms of fat. The exact opposite is true. Animal fat can be broken down enzymatically by animals, where plant fat was apparently designed to not be broken down by animals. Evolution circumstantially indicates that the reason why plants, primarily in seeds, produce cis fats is to inhibit insect damage. The cis double bond requires different enzymes, which animals and insects would not originally have. Some animals are adapting to the cis double bond, but insects probably are not. One of the main reasons why people should eat red meat is that it has vitamins and minerals in optimal form as organic compounds. It is almost impossible to take minerals as supplements for most persons, because you need a PhD degree in physiology to safely take most minerals. Most people should therefore get their minerals from red meat. Fish have few minerals, because the oceans are very deficient in minerals. Calcium is constantly precipitating out of the oceans and taking minerals with it. Plants minimize their minerals to exploit the widest possible range of habitats. There is almost no copper or zinc in plants or plant-based food, because there is very little copper or zinc in most soil. That leaves humans very low in copper or zinc unless they eat red meat. Red meat is the solution to human nutrition problems, because the livestock can potentially be safely and properly farmed while providing all necessary minerals which get converted into organic molecules which are safe for human nutrition. If beef were fed alfalfa, it could provide unlimited, organic beef to everyone on Planet Earth at about half the cost of present beef. Alfalfa will grow wherever grass grows; it has more than enough protein and usually requires no chemicals. Why then are nutritionists saying the opposite of the truth? The answer to that question includes all of the complex elements of corruption, which I have partially explained over about a thousand web pages. To hit a few highlights, it goes like this: Fraud is needed to monger power. Even if only the smallest percent of the fraud milieu is aware of the nature of the frauds, all of the wannabes are locked into the fraud pattern. The wannabes have the false impression that the fraud authorities know what they are doing and will make them all successful at mongering power. The net result is that the fraud culture draws incompetent strivers toward fraud as an assumed source of power.
