June 9, 2024 Superficiality in the media increases as fascism takes over the social order. It's a form of escapism, because relevance is stripped from subject matter without the abstract realities that create meaning, when superficiality is exploited. Superficiality is the resort of scoundrels, because it is nonsense which can be given any meaning allowing misrepresentation and lies to be rationalized, as if some other meaning than the assumed meaning were the real meaning. Corrupters tell themselves that they always produce perfect truth, no matter whether others assume otherwise, because rationalizing can be used to align upon irrelevancies and trivia in contradiction to results, when superficial realities are so fluid that varied interpretations are possible. Knowledge is abstract. It takes abstract knowledge to give realities meaning. Stripping away the abstractions leaves nothing but superficial realities which have no required meaning. There is no right-from-wrong without the abstract realities that create meaning. Without right-from-wrong, corrupters exploit corruption telling themselves that it is not corruption. Another problem with such superficialness is that motives disappear. Corruption is only definable in terms of motives. That means corrupters are put on an equal basis with constructive persons, where superficial realities replace knowledge which has abstract meaning. It's extremely noticeable that when Trump's rationalizers claim injustices are being perpetrated against trump, they are omitting the relevance of Trump's corruption. The relevance is in the abstractions of right and wrong. Omit those realities; and there is no difference between destructivity and constructivity. Over-literalness is a result of relying upon superficial realities without evaluating the abstract realities that create meaning. Over-literalness creates gullibility, which creates vulnerability to corrupters exploiting such persons through demagoguery. Demagogues pretend that the quick fixes of corruption are the answers to problems; and over-literalness causes gullible persons to fall for the ploy. When superficial realities are relied upon to rationalize corruption, right-from-wrong disappears and corrupters assume the cause of problems is in DNA rather than corrupt motives. Then "cleaning up the gene pool" appears to be the only solution to problems, which is the basis for promoting genocide.
