July 6, 2024 Fake technology is not promoted and discussed as technology; it's related to as political propaganda—the need to save mankind with the infinite possibilities of futurism. Technology doesn't work unless all of the basic details meet the exacting requirements of the engineering. That means only scientists and engineers should be telling us what its value is. When know nothings are used to promote something, it is closer to the ruination of man than functional technology. Yet no criticism is allowed, when know-nothings are imposing their fakery onto society.
"On par with coal" and "carbon free" couldn't be more of a mockery of technology. Those are propaganda slogans, not descriptions of technology. The demands which are not being met by the fake technology are becoming so obvious that they being admitted at levels where the responsibilities exist. Those authorities plow forward with obvious limitations, while the public gets the rationality insults of know-nothing propaganda on the wonders of carbon free technology. The propagandists are demanding ever-more of something that is absurd, which makes the fakery more obvious and imposing. Supposedly it's only the shortage of carbon free technology that is the problem, not too much of the demands of impossibilities that cannot be met. Futurism is a variation of the fakery that doesn't show the impossibilities through direct observation by the public. Why did the fakes convince the government to get involved in the going-to-Mars idiocy. Why don't they set up operations in the Sahara Desert first? There is more water, resources and oxygen in the Sahara Desert than on Mars. You say that's absurd? How could going to Mars be any less absurd? The going-to-Mars and other forms of futurism fakery show that the purpose is not in the results of the technology but the mongering of power by incompetents. Power mongers glamorize their stupidity as a superior form of intelligence in contempt for the science and engineering. Incompetents supposedly know how to do the impossible with technological futurism, which makes them superior persons. Then they pretend that their wizardry is turning complex technology into solutions to problems that no one else can solve. They try to transpose futurism wizardry onto their bungled technology pretending that they are too advanced in their concerns to be worried about the trivial nature of nonfunctional products.
