At the top of every web site for state and local governments was the claim for many years that nothing heats the atmosphere but carbon dioxide and similar, so-called greenhouse gases. Physicists know that heat enters the atmosphere from conduction, convection and evaporation from the surface of the Earth. Why didn't they correct the error? It shows that the fraud was an instrumental part of their purpose.

The diagram below is how physicists explain energy flowing into and out of the Earth. They call it the Earth's energy budget. It shows how much energy is attributed to conduction, convection and evaporation. While they discussed and promoted the Earth's energy budget, they allowed frauds to tell the public that nothing heats the atmosphere but carbon dioxide and so-called greenhouse gases.

Another example is the claim by bureaucrats that electric motors get 96% efficiency. Apparently some sort of law requires the 96% efficiency. Every engineer that worked with electric motors used to known that electric motors do not get more than 40% efficiency and under operating conditions usually get 25% efficiency.

Where the 96% efficiency comes from would be the resistive load of an electric motor, which means a measurement of the resistance in the copper wires when the motor is turned off. The more relevant loss is in the inductive load which transforms the electrical energy into kinetic energy. It can never be more than 40% efficient.

That means someone fed the politicians the resistive load as the entire loss without mentioning the inductive load. No one could be aware of one without knowing the other. So why mislead the politicians that way and never correct the error. Bureaucrats claim electric vehicles get an equivalent of 100 to 150 miles per gallon due to the high efficiency of electric motors. That much fraud could not be created and sustained without the purpose of misleading the public.

The reason why the efficiency of electric motors can never be more than forty percent for theoretical reasons is because an inductive force must move metal atoms in a linear direction, while the force cannot prevent the atoms from moving in all directions over 180 degrees parallel to the force. Only 40% of that 180 degrees is suitably in the right direction for linear motion, while the other 60% is not. That 60% increase in motion in the wrong directions creates random motion of molecules which is heat and loss of energy. This diagram shows how the motion of atoms is distributed:

When real scientists prove the frauds to be wrong, no improvement results. In fact, real scientists get shoved out of the process if not out of their jobs. An example is real scientists measuring the result of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and finding that there is so little radiation available for carbon dioxide to absorb that it all gets absorbed by the time the radiation travels a short distance in the atmosphere, so more carbon dioxide cannot absorb more radiation. They referred to the effect as saturation. It should have ended the greenhouse gas fraud at that point, which occurred more than a century ago. But frauds in physics ignored the result and continued in imposing the fraud of greenhouse gases onto the public.
