Bigotry is the assumption that power is virtue and powerlessness is corruption. Power mongers rationalizing mongering power by telling themselves that power is virtue and powerlessness is corruption, assuming their view is brilliance instead of decadence.

The net effect is a war against the lower classes. Nothing visibly is gained by a war against the lower classes; but invisibly, a justification for mongering power is so important that the war against the lower classes is used for that purpose.

People gain nothing from power mongers taking over the social structures and converting them into power structures for their personal gain at everyone else's expense. But opposition to power mongering is neutralized by generating a fake war against the lower classes. It's more of a distraction than a cause.

In other words, creating trouble for the lower classes is not justifiable; but it is a major distraction; so no one gets past the distraction to take up the real harm being done by power mongers taking over social structures.

In case it isn't obvious, the war against the lower classes takes form as generating homelessness, which would be easier to fix than promote, if power mongers weren't imposing it upon everyone. It also takes the form of preventing social programs from solving problems for the lower classes.

Those activities are exaggerated in an unrealistic way for the ulterior motive of putting incompetent power mongers in control of everything. Power mongers make themselves superior to the oppressed victims and pretend to be solving everyone's problems in fighting a war against the lower classes.

Even though no one could miss the absurdities and self-defeating results of the war against the lower classes, the appearance is secondary to the ulterior motive. Power mongers have a right to be wrong and stupid; so they defy logic in their war against the lower classes. That means even if they are obviously wrong and self-defeating, the process accomplishes the purpose of distracting from the social ruin created by the incompetent power mongers taking over the social structures.

Fake economics is one of the tools for fighting a war against the lower classes. The way it works is to raise interest rates based on fraud purposes, which always starts with a fake need to "cool the economy." Why cool the economy? Just because economist say so.

A cooled economy means creating problems for everyone. No one benefits from a cooled economy. But after the economy gets screwed up with raised interest rates, the purpose of raised interest rates is supposedly to lower inflation. The inflation never exists until interest rates are increased.

The purpose of the economic fraud is the same old war against the lower classes. The lower classes pay the heaviest price for the screwed up economy which puts people out of work and increases the cost of products.

Similarly, no one could actually assume that building fake renewables is carbon free. But the lower classes pay the heaviest price in making energy more expensive. So frauds pretend that they are saving mankind from carbon dioxide by pouring money down the fake renewable energy drain.
