Hunter Biden is a private citizen who has never been a part of government. Therefore it is no business of anyone in politics what he has been doing, what his problems are or what his crimes consist of. Yet his personal life has been a major concern of politicians for the past two years, as they evaluate and degrade his life. It was appropriate for President Biden to say he would not intervene in the criminal investigations of Hunter. And it was then appropriate for him to issue a full pardon. Both were objectively called for. Yet the fakes shout about inconsistencies in the President's position. There is no such thing as consistency in politics. In a democracy, politicians represent; they are not supposed to impose their own concerns onto the public, though conservatives do nothing other than that. That means the realities of politicians change with the weather, need to change with the weather and have never done anything other than change with the weather. But that only applies to the realities which the public evaluates and votes on. What should not change with politicians or anyone else is values, standards, motives and purposes—that is, when appropriately aligned on constructivity. When corrupt, they never do change, only the realities change. It was more than appropriate for President Biden to pardon Hunter, as he explained. No one listened to a word of his explanation. It was an understatement. Hunter Biden was ran through a gauntlet of governmental perversions which resulted in an inappropriate criminal process demanded by conservatives. No one is normally dealt with so harshly over such irrelevant criminality. Owning a gun for a few days which he had no purpose for is not what anyone in law enforcement wastes their time with. Not paying taxes on time is the norm, when weighing the $700 billion in unpaid taxes which are never judicated. Pardoning Hunter Biden after that fascist perversion of government was more than demanded after the fact for justice. There was no inconsistency in President Biden's position in staying out of the investigation and then pardoning afterwards. Article on Tax Evasion
