It's strange that a lot of know-nothings assume they know more science than scientists do. The mechanics of such gullibility are more visible in science than usual due to the extremes and complexities.

Frauds in science exploit gullibility by using authoritative impressions in place of evidence with accountability through rationality. That fraud standard gives uninformed persons a concept of science being little more than a perspective rather than an in-depth evaluation of complexities. If so, each person should have something to say about the perspectives of science, as if science were similar to politics.

The bliss of ignorance is due to the fact that it takes some knowledge to know that something is not known. Therefore, the less knowledge, the less awareness of the unknowns and the more the assumption of knowing all there is to know.

Corrupters feed on the bliss of ignorance by using meaningless word salad to represent complexities. The trivialness invites gullible persons to get involved in producing opinions on the subject.

Being missed in the gullibility is the nature of real science in using reliable methods of clarifying accountably what objective realities are. That whole process is unknown to gullible persons. They don't know that a scientific method exists, what its purposes are or what it accomplishes. So they relate to scientific subjects no differently than they relate to politics.

One of the consequences is politicization of science subjects. Persons absorbed in gullibility science are not going to allow opponents to tell them what reality is any more than they do in politics.

That wouldn't be happening, if gullibility science were not highly developed and exploited in society. People would be a lot more reserved and inquisitive, if science were not corrupted and exploited.

That can be known, because science only became so visible to the public and exploited as a social force in recent decades. Frauds in science were invisible to the public until the 1970s, which is when the carbon dioxide fraud took off due to overwhelm of science and society by incompetent power mongers.
