What nonscientists get wrong are the laws of the universe, which they replace with values and culture. And of course, nothing could be more abhorrent than replacing values and culture with technical details. So nonscientists are supposedly superior to real scientists, but not fake scientists, in having the right values and culture.

From that starting point, nonscientists get science right having the right values and culture, while real scientists are wrong, and incompetent frauds in science are right, because incompetent scientists are clueless on the laws of nature and promote values and culture as supposed science.

The nature of the conflict is that of the primary conflict in human society. There is only one primary conflict for humans. It's the conflict between rationality and striving to be winners. Rationality is the same thing as science, because the objective realities of the universe define life and solutions to problems. Rationality is alignment upon those requirements, which now days places demands upon scientific understanding.

Being winners is diabolically opposed to rationality, because the whole purpose of winning is to compensate for incompetence. Believe it or not, there is no place for winning in rationality, because the persons disappear in aligning upon the objective realities of the universe.

So incompetents trying to be winners assume rational persons are ignorant misfits who can't understand how to be winners. Trying to be winners through rationality seems like trying to dig a whole in the ground to get from point A to point B. Rationality doesn't get there.

Reagan said, if you need to explain, you are already a loser. He assumed the purpose in life is to be a winner and rationality is for fools. Rationality requires explanation of claims.

Nonscientists are stuck with that problem, because they are not keeping up with the demands of modern existence based on science. That's not to say it always matters; but usually it does. The reason why it matters is shown by the overwhelm of society by increasing fascism which is transforming into Nazism.

The increasing fascism is part of the same process of imposing fake science and technology onto society. Fascism is the socialization of corruption. Nazism is the maximum extreme of socialized corruption, where the failures of corruption become so futile that genocide is assumed to be the only solution.

An important point to realize in that process is, nonscientists are drawn to fraudulent science, because incompetent power mongers in science have the same values and culture in attempting to be winners. Winning requires a war against rationality, because rationality exposes incompetent corrupters for what they are.

Isn't it possible for nonscientists to see real scientists as being right and incompetent power mongers in science as being wrong? Technically it isn't possible, because the complexities of science are not visible to nonscientists, while the values and culture of winning are highly visible.

There is a social force oriented around winning which engulfs human sociology; and it is corrupted by the requirements for winning. To be winners requires domination to prevail. Domination is the basis of all corruption, because no one can function while being dominated by incompetent corrupters. As the victims fight back, all elements of corruption are applied to the project of eradicating the purposes of the losers form social existence.

In that deteriorating abys, there are a few persons who get aligned upon rationality without being scientists. Victims of persecution sometimes find rationality to be the requirement for overcoming corruption.

Most persons are in between those two extremes. They produce a little bit of rationality for some obvious purposes while aligned upon the consensus of social forces. But the in between state is personalized, while the social state is a conflict between the extremes that increases constantly.

Why does a whole society want to destroy their energy and transportation systems over an infantile assumption that a miniscule element of the atmosphere is killing the kids and pets? Because the social forces move in that direction and overwhelm the rationality.

Every element of the frauds can be explained in provable terms; but the truth is repelled like water off a duck's back, because the winners are where the consensus prevails. If such details of science prove the consensus wrong, it only shows that such science is for fools. It's the consensus that determines who the winners are; and nonscientists supposedly determine what the real science is based on the values and culture that shape consensus.

Of course, now, just before the election, conservatives are walking all over liberals in opposing the fake science and technology. But that nicety is no more than a recent campaign gimmick. Conservatives don't have a clue what the science and technology consist of; they simply encountered a forest to be harvested in opposing liberals on those subjects.
