January 21, 2025 What's missing in politics is functional technology and solutions to problems. Instead, aspirational nonsense is used to project a more noble purpose than opponents. What good are purposes that can never be accomplished? Skipping the methodology is destroying the social order, as problems increase without being solved. Functionality requires rationality aligned upon objective reality. Power mongers disconnect from the requirements, because rationality exposes their incompetence in producing rationality. Functional technology, now days, requires globalization of production. Not knowing such an overwhelming fact is beyond incompetence. That's because large-scale markets must exist, which in turn require more specialized products as components. No one is going to change that dynamic by pretending this is the nineteenth century. Complex, finished products require components sourced from many countries; and they aren't going to be found elsewhere. The concept of we will build it ourselves is beyond stupidity. Set up a hundred factories to sell a handful of products? The absurdities follow the purpose of claiming anything with no method of getting there. It's of the nature of power mongers to be clueless on how things are produced. They assume they can create the demands and expect someone to produce the results. That's missing the complexity of social structures that are needed for producing results. Problems cannot be solved without the laws, openness and accountability that protect the complex and vulnerable processes for solving problems. Even with the opportunities, the rational persons who know how to solve problems are being shoved out of the process by incompetents who cannot tolerate the demands of rationality exposing them as the corrupters that they are.
