Corrupters assume that a person's first impression is their last, because it is true for themselves being cut off from objective reality by their opposition to the rationality that exposes them as the corrupters that they are. Superficiality is the first impression being the last.

There is an awful lot to existence beyond the first impression of corrupters. As social complexities increase due to the demands of complex technology, the demands become more and more imperative. To not meet the demands destroys not only the complex technology but the social structures needed to make complexities functional.

Missing from superficiality is functionality. Repairing complex things shows that functionality requires every element to be exactly correct, where superficiality is missing the complexities. Can repairmen fix a television or computer with a hammer?

When Reagan said, government is the problem and Reaganites said they were creating "a new normal" using deregulation to throw out critical laws, they expected to fix the television by getting rid of everything inside of it. Throwing out critical banking laws allowed "derivatives" to be created, which resulted in the economic collapse of 2008, as mortgages were bundled, sold and bet upon as derivatives.

The Reaganites said they were going to get rid of eighty years of liberalism gone awry. Eighty years earlier, robber barons were destroying the financial system and economy resulting in the Federal Reserve system being created. Was creating those laws liberalism gone awry? The robber barons are back, as deregulation unleashed power mongering exploitation of the economy.

That's because the redesign of the conservative cause around the "new normal" of Reaganism is based on the superficial assumption that government is the problem in standing in the way of power mongers doing as they please. Reaganites said laws were forcing them to fight their war with one hand tied behind their backs. They weren't supposed to be fighting any war; and it was supposed to be both hands.

Laws were created to prevent corruption from destroying the social order. With no concept of what ordered existence is, conservatives assume nothing should stand in the way of them doing as they please.
