Power Creates Arrogance

September 14, 2024

Power causes corrupters to assume they have superior reality control, while they have inferior reality control. They project power onto realities unrealistically, because power makes them feel like winners. But power disconnects them from realities. Being disconnected from realities, power mongers get a lot wrong about realities.

One of the consequences is that power causes corrupters to take on tasks which are impossibly demanding not knowing how doomed to failure they are.

Another consequence is that power causes corrupters to assume superiority to such an extent that they consider destroying more vulnerable persons to be virtue.

Closely related is the assumption that the superiority of power requires a re-alignment of social existence upon power in conflict with the objective demands for rationality in solving problems.

A lot of arrogance there, huh? As a result, power mongers are disruptive influences on society. In their attempts to align existence upon their false assumptions about the virtues of power, they generate a lot of fraud. Promotion of fraud thereby becomes the prevailing characteristic of power mongers.
