Fascism is the socialization of corruption. Nazism is addition of genocide to fascism. Historians can't get those subjects exactly correct, because they don't study the right material for that purpose. Science creates the most provable examples of how such corruption overtakes the social order.

As fascism has been progressing over the past several decades, major forces overwhelmed rational existence. One force was incompetent power mongers taking over the social structures and converting them into power structures for their personal gain at everyone else's expense.

Gradually, the most significant element of fascism was power mongers overtaking the media and using it to impose fraud onto society with no criticism being allowed. Know-nothings imposed fake science and technology onto society and disallowed any criticism of their claims. Energy and transportation systems were being destroyed to remove a rare plant nutrient from the atmosphere.

The most important point to be made is that the mechanism of disallowing criticism will always result in corrupters overwhelming the subject for two major reasons. One, criticism is an essential part of improving all realities. Two, anyone who disallows criticism has the motive of imposing corruption onto society.

An example that is somewhat simpler than greenhouse gases and renewable energy is fluoride in drinking water. Should not people have a choice about it? The pretense is that no choice is needed for something that wonderful. Usually that logic is not allowed. Only in imposing destructive fraud is something good forced onto people. That's because corrupters are always fixers. All corruption is imposed as a supposed fix for something.

The chemistry of fluoride being good for teeth or health is beyond mockery. Fluoride is used to etch glass. As it does that to the enamel of teeth, the result is said to be cosmetic. (Changing the pH of ions doesn't change what they do; it only changes the rate that they do it.) So the basis of the subject is dentists seeing the benefits. That standard is never allowed anyplace else.

Doctors and dentists are nothing resembling scientists. The public doesn't understand what science is. Scientists study technical literature describing methods of measurement as indications of evidence. That process is on an extremely complex planet that no one but scientists are on. First, you enter the subject with the purpose of self-education. Doctors and dentists are handed their material; and any deviation is malpractice. Then the five hundred years of scientific results are too complex for anyone but scientists to understand. It takes years of concerted study to get started at that process. And then, real scientists do not draw conclusions as supposed facts; they deal with evidence only as interpreted in terms of complex methods of measurements.

After several years of assuming some dentist noticed improvements where fluoride existed in water, a test was conducted with the usual procedures. As it began to show the opposite of desired results, it was discontinued. After several more years, another test was conducted; and it too showed the wrong results and was discontinued. After fascism got thoroughly established, know-nothings claimed the benefits of fluoride are an established fact.

Regardless, real results require a totally different approach to a subject than know-nothings imposing claims with no ability to explain their claims and no criticism allowed. Degrading critics is not how a rational social order resists fascism. Know-nothings claiming facts is not how criticism works.
