Cults seem absurdly preposterous in unrealism. Trumpism is transforming into a cult, which shows the mechanisms of the processes. Starting with presidential politics and ending up with cultism shows the details of how cults work.

The most visible and basic element of cults is the process of transforming losers into winners. Objective reality needs to be replaced with artificial reality to do that.

A degree of that process is part of all corruption, as the purpose is to make winners of losers. It takes the form of a cult when the transformation is so extreme that objective reality must be replaced with subjective reality in a more total manner than usual.

The cult leader serves that purpose in focussing all realities upon himself and his purposes. The focus upon the person is the essence of subjectivity. To not focus upon a person would mean replacing some objective realities with other objective realities. The complete absence of objective realities can only be achieved by replacing the subjectivity of a person with the objectivity of other realities.

Getting to that point was a gradual process with Trumpism. Trump alone could not accomplish that result, nor could his followers alone. It took a joint effort with the common purpose of disconnecting from objective reality to get there.

The process evolves out of the attempt to be winners through lying. Lies have the purpose of disconnecting from objective reality. The more the lying works in achieving the desired result, the more the lying.

The process got extreme with Trump due to his extreme stupidity. He wasn't capable of winning any arguments through rationality. So he destroyed the process with lying.

Then he drew upon low-level losers saying he was on their side. That brought persons out of oblivion and into the realm of importance.

Since it was lying that produced the results, the lying was carried to increasing extremes to prevail over opponents.

That element of disconnecting from objective reality is visible in all cults. And it takes the subjective worship of the cult leader to carry the process to its most extreme manifestations.

As Trump and his followers become more solidified as a cult, the objective realities that they trash get more significant. At this time, the cult is trashing every element of real government including its laws and bureaucracies. With a cult leader doing the deciding, nothing else can be allowed to interfere with the process.
