The importance in Trump's indictment for stealing classified documents is in the Department of Justice clarifying and showing respect for law and standards of government, because the fascists are barreling toward Nazism in total contempt for ten thousand years of human activity in creating government and social structures for solving human problems.

Conservatives say it is nothing but politics. In saying that they show they have no respect for properly created laws through democratic processes—a key ingredient of Nazism. The Nazis in Germany burned down the Reichstag to prevent laws from getting in their way. They then did everything on a basis of whim resulting in genocide.

Trump is a die-hard Nazi by character making Hitler look like a neophyte. Hitler tried to convince people of something; Trump doesn't bother. Trump weaponizes realities rather than promotes them. Only terrorists are so devoid of concern for their image in destroying everything in front of them for power.

The laws spelled out in the indictment have been in use for a long time with standards and procedures well established. The deviation by Trump and ridicule by his followers are unprecedented.

To go along with conservatives and their fraud standards would be to exchange rational government for the anarchy of neo-Nazism.

The judicial result after the indictment of Trump is close to irrelevant for many reasons. First, it would take two or three years to prosecute under the best of conditions. Trump's appointee as judge could extend that process almost indefinitely. Either way, Trump will be elected again, before a court case is completed.

Another problem with the court case is that the Department of Justice cannot spell out any significant damage that was done, which will reduce the case to trivia. To clarify the damage would require revealing the content and significance of the classified documents, many of which were highly classified.

So the court case has to be highly generalized. A generalized case of mishandling and obstructing for a former president becoming president again couldn't be more than a formality with the only consequence being more publicity of the type that gets Trump elected.

A point that seems to be too easily missed is that the procedure is everything regardless of the result in a democratic form of government. Throw out the procedure, and all types of destructive power exist.
