Debased Purpose Of Conservatives July 12, 2023 Conservatives are trying to change the purpose of government away from a social structure based on laws and toward subjective power for their group. Their focus is on who gains and who loses in contempt for the laws involved. The significance is not in whether they win or lose but whether government exists as a process and structure based on laws. It's like trying to use an automobile for scraps instead of transportation. The absence of government is far more relevant than whether conservatives win their battles. Conservatives are going after the Justice Department simply because law has been applied to some of their cohorts, as if no law should apply to themselves. Similarly, they are attacking Hunter Biden as a person in contempt for the procedures and laws involved. The method of argument defines the purpose as abolishing all concepts of what government is supposed to be and replacing it with a war against opponents. The Justice Department should supposedly promote the interests of conservative and not their opponents. Everything in government is being defined by conservatives in terms of whose interests are promoted in disregard for laws and procedures. That process is a major step toward totalitarian tyranny with abandon that didn't exist in U.S. government in the past. It's absolutism in disallowing no influence from laws or governmental purposes, about like a street fight. Trying to reduce government to the equivalent of a street fight is a measure of the success conservatives have had in overwhelming government with lawlessness. They are pushing the boundaries as far as possible and leaving no concepts of ordered existence in their purposes. That says too much about the state of existence. It says everything humans have tried to accomplish with government and laws is being destroyed with a degree of success that can be openly promoted with no concern for opposing views or precedence. Conservatives are so obsessed with prevailing that they don't want anything to get in their way—no laws, no truth, no logic. That happens as corrupters get too successful, because success at corruption is self-defeating. So they get more desperate in shoving everything aside in their failing attempt at winning through corruption. It's just "us against them." When corrupters win in acqiring power, they lose in gaining anything from it. They strive for power for psychological reasons, while they are worse off because of it. Power is like a drug; it does nothing constructive for anyone.
