Hypotheticals turn fraud into virtue. So a measure of fraud is to look at the hypotheticals. And what do we see? A forest so thick that nothing else is visible. Hypotheticals applied to social exploitation tend to be predictions. Some predictions idealized futurism, and some condemn opponents. The purpose of hypotheticals is to create a justification for unjustifiable activity that occurs in the immediate. Idealized futurism justifies a rip off here and now. Guessing at opponents justifies their degradation here and now. In other words, hypotheticals remove objective reality from the basis for action and use values as a basis. That's why courts do not allow prior restraint; it would replace objective reality with values. Conservatives live by their values, the obvious reason being that they cut themselves off from objective reality which condemns them for incompetence and corruptness. All they have left without objective reality is values. Not to be outdone, greens promote fake technology as futurism. Renewable energy and electric vehicles are supposedly going to transform the world in 2015, or maybe 2020, or maybe it's 2024. Doesn't matter when it occurs with hypotheticals, since the future is always in the future. But greens are fakes. Not only do they ravage the environment and resources, they are farther right than Attila the Hun in dumping the problems onto vulnerable persons and the needy. There is not a thing that conservatives promote that is not a hypothetical for the above reasons. Corporations burning tax dollars to improve the economy has been promoted since conservatives took over the world in 1981. There is no imagined mechanism for the claimed result. The purpose is to rip off the lower classes and lavish the lucre onto power mongers. There is nothing unobvious about it. The argument never gets beyond the lied-about result. What the argument really should be about is competence, plans and methodology. Nothing in the complexities of the modern world can be done without a lot of prior rationality determining how. The approach of conservatives is like claiming they manufacture automobiles in their closet. It takes a lot of visible activity to produce complex results. Conservatives never show the slightest evidence of proceeding in the required manner. Greens show some activity, but the more results they produce, the more the results condemn them. There is no valid science or engineering underlying renewable energy or electric vehicles. The constructing that gets completed shows that no one can get past 15% renewables (as solar and wind power) because electrical grids cannot tolerate more disruption than 15%. Electric vehicles can never get past a toy for the rich, because batteries will never be realistic for storing the energy of transportation. Mongering power is a condemnation of opponents for what they hypothetically will do but never do. Nothing has changed but appearances since the McCarthy era of labeling non-conservatives as communists to destroy them socially. Every election is such an attack upon liberals who supposedly are going to destroy everything because they aren't conservatives. What do liberals destroy when they get elected? They write laws and create social programs for the needy. The conservatives throw out the laws and social programs when they get elected. Where's the communism in that? Plenty of Nazism but no communism. |
