There used to be one type of negativism, which was criticism or complaint. Trump and followers brought a second type of negativism to the surface and weaponized it as their promotional tool. It's an attack disconnected from reality such as the big lie that Biden stole the election. What Trump has to offer is disconnect from reality. Negativism can easily be disconnected from reality. So the Trump cabal pulls the stops out in attack absurdities. The most significant fact about type two negativism is not its negativism, which is too absurd to have much meaning; it's the absence of anything constructive. We are supposed to turn the world over to a bunch who have no ability to do anything constructive. This is why the Trump cabal resorts to disconnected negativism—it replaces the need for constructivity which they cannot produce. And since normal negativism is too moderate and is expected to include some rationality, the new negativism must be stripped of the expectation of rationality or relevance which would create a requirement for constructivity. To strip constructivity or normalcy from negativism, the negativism must be absurdly extreme. When adding up the requirements, the end result is an attempt to break down rationality or its purpose in constructivity as the new ideology of the Trump cabal. Of course, there is nothing new about the concept. What is new is the exclusivity of the purpose and degree of social influence. The destructiveness of disconnected negativity is supposed to the only purpose in life. Counter-Intention Explains Absurdities
