Power mongering creates an atmosphere of corruption. Power in itself might not. The difference between power and power mongering is that without the mongering, power can be more incidental and individualized. The mongering cannot. It takes scale to monger power.

An atmosphere of corruption is the final product of the mongering process for power. So the atmosphere of corruption is most extreme where power mongering is most complete.

It all starts with the need for numbers to enhance power. The power of numbers is the same as consensus. Reaching a degree of completeness with numbers is the first element of generating an atmosphere of corruption.

Then the reality element of mongering power is continually refined for enhancing power through corruption. The reality element includes endless rules—taught by example and punishment, never words, as words defeat corrupters.

One of the rules is to never create moral implications with power. There is never supposed to be a right or wrong way to monger power. Of course, for outsiders, their wrongness is always a must-do project. The reason for disallowing food stamps for the needy is because it would corrupt their character—the dependency disease. But there is no character element to control freaks who do the deciding. Burning tax dollars is business, not aberration.

Another requirement in the atmosphere of mongered power is positiveness. Everything within the power mongering atmosphere is the good and right reference for existence and all wrongs are external. A critic is "not a team player."

Perhaps the most significant fact about the atmosphere of mongered power is that it absorbs everyone in the vicinity. A relationship to power mongers through the atmosphere they create is an inescapable part of operating where the power mongering atmosphere exists. It's a control process. Persons within the atmosphere are controlled by the influences.

The corruptness of the atmosphere requires fakery, particularly as imagery. Imagery includes a persona that must be projected. Part of the persona is size. Generally speaking, the suitable persona must include at least six foot height and 150 pounds—not the least reason for the misogyny. Females tend not to meet the size requirements for projecting the image of power.

Another element of the persona is projecting impressions as substitutes for accuracy. Impressions need to be overwhelming enough to shove out rationality. For that reason, phones are in and text is out. A phone projects impressions; text does not. Email is a disaster for the process, unless reduced to transitional information rather than information in itself, such as when to call and where to locate. Those who add information to emails end up disgraced in the media, which almost took down the global warming cause in 2009. It took two years to recover from the result. There was a lot less explaining with the quips afterwards.

After that much investment in generating power through fakery and imagery, there is no place for anything rational or constructive. Generating power is the only purpose.
