There is a mind-frame that reverses the essence and corruption. The corruption is supposedly the essence and the essence is supposedly the corruption.

The most degenerate power mongers know they promote corruption, even though they get the complexities and abstractions wrong. It's corrupt persons off to the side who get the overview wrong.

Power does that to weak-minded persons. They view power from a distance and miss the meaning. From a distance, power prevails; power creates winners and power seems to produce results.

What gets missed is that power doesn't produce constructivity. That concept is too abstract for weak-minded persons to understand. The abstractions disappear in the power mongering. Only what prevails matters.

So all of the abstractions supposedly fit into the power mongering schemes. If power mongers can commit crimes, they supposedly can produce products. Power becomes the essence of all that is right.

Such fools don't miss the fact that a lot of destructivity is needed to acquire and maintain power. Instead of realizing that destructivity doesn't combine with constructivity, they assume that nothing is perfect and destructivity is necessary imperfection for making things work.

Dependence upon destructivity as if it were imperfection is an offshoot of the exploitation mentality. A tree has to be cut down to be exploited. Land has to be ruined to use it for something. People have to die from polluted air and water to manufacture products. And misfits need to be gotten out of the way to do all that. That's why the Nazis gassed the "worthless eaters." The Nazis thought they were getting somewhere and expected to take over the world.

That dependency is the main reason why fake science and technology don't get corrected. Persons who are attached to power don't care whether something is true; they want it to be exploited either way and falsehoods are easier to exploit than truth is.

Now days there is a lot of social visibility and it is showing that corruptions go off the charts, while responsible behavior disappears in the background. Promoting corruption attaches to and generates power. Every power binge shows a disconnect from objective reality.
