With the right values, errors are easily corrected and no big problems result. With the wrong values, everything is in error, the errors cannot be corrected and everyone pays a price for them. That's because values shape motives and results follow motives.

The politics of conservatives consist of values only. Conservatives promote values with a lot of vehemence. The reason is because their values are in conflict with the universe, which requires a lot of force in promoting them.

It's not proper to promote values in the general social domain. Values are highly variable, personal and subjective, while people have a right to their own values. Values can be highly variable and still be constructive.

But conservatives are in the imposing business. They don't allow people to have their own values. Changing the world starting with values is the driving force of conservatives. It's not appropriate socially. Conservatives are a detriment to society and words cannot overstate the harm that they do as demonstrated by Trump and followers in trying to overthrow the government through criminality.

Constructive values are promoted by constructive religions. A large part of the purpose of constructive religions is to promote constructive values. That process is so personal and subjective that there is supposed to be a separation of church and state. Yet conservatives promote nothing but values as their version of government.

Trump never had a methodology for doing anything. He assumed that he had the right values and promoting them would take care of everything—no procedures required. Without procedures, making American great is nothing but values.

Conservatives are big at waving flags. Their waving the flag doesn't mean acceptance of a government designed by validly created laws; it means replacing the government with their arbitrary impositions upon society. They wave the flag to change what it means, not to support what it means. They intend for self-righteousness to be the result, but it's a fraud.

Constructive values promote truth, justice, knowledge, equality, rights and freedom. Destructive values promote the right of corrupters to victimize other persons. Conservatives rip off the needy in their attempts to get them below their own feet. Attempting to prevail through domination creates the destructiveness of corrupt values.
