Subjective Arbitrating

Subjective arbitrating is a position that conservatives speak from. They do not allow anyone to decide for themselves. Conservatives do the deciding and impose their views.

If it were objective facts, regardless of the deficiencies, they could be checked out. But conservatives aren't in that business. They are in the business of promoting values. There is nothing to check out to determine the truth.

The impeachment is an example. Conservatives say Trump was dealt with unfairly, because the impeachment was "partisan." So the Trump administration stonewalled and refused to provide any of the information that was subpoenaed in the investigation. Afterwards, the senate said the dispute was just a question of "life-style."

There is nothing that can be questioned in those values. The whole argument is over values. A government cannot be run on values. There are supposed to be laws that describe how government works.

The investigation described laws that were broken. There are objective realities that can be checked out and evaluated. Trump clearly broke those laws. In fact, Trump has systematically defied the intent of every law that has applied to his purposes, while he reduced government to a dictatorship.

The word intent says it all. Laws are supposed to be defined by intent. Yet Trump's version of government defies the intent of all laws defining a Constitutional democracy. Trump supposedly has a right to do so, because he is president.

Conservatives say Trump is above the law as president, so there is no such thing as him breaking laws. Therefore, any investigation automatically becomes a partisan attack, and Trump calls the (Constitutionally described) process of impeachment, sedition.

Conservatives are saying the U.S. government should be subjectively arbitrated by a dictator. Not the least reason is because conservatives assume all of life should be subjectively arbitrated. They oppose objective reality being evaluated through rationality, because they don't have the slightest ability to determine what objective reality is or how to produce rationality.

Without objective reality, government consists of nothing but worshipping the dictator by supporting his arbitrary whims. Anything other than that is assumed to be an unfair or partisan attack.
