Power As Superiority

March 31, 2021

Power is what replaces rationality for corrupters. It allows them to impose themselves upon others, which is domination, the most basic starting point of corruption. It doesn't sound superior to much, does it? To corrupters it does. They can't add and subtract, which is why they need a substitute for rationality.

Replacing rationality isn't just peanuts. There isn't much that it isn't, except rationality. So corrupters assume they are superior to rational persons due to power.

The result is two diabolically opposed purposes in existence: rationality and power mongering. Why would one be superior to the other? That question needs to be evaluated.

The basis for power as superiority is that it does what corrupters want it to do, which is allow them to dominate. That means prevailing over other persons. Isn't prevailing superiority? To persons who can't add and subtract it is.

Rationality is accounting for everything, not just the feel-good process of dominating other persons. The everything that corrupters leave out includes consequences. There are a lot of consequences to everything that go far beyond the feel-good purpose of corrupters.

Human existence teaches people to solve problems. Power mongering does the opposite: It teaches corrupters to create problems. Why shouldn't they? If they get all they want out of creating problems to dominate, why not?

The standard response to all corruption can be found in hypocrisy. It means corrupters don't want the same thing happening to themselves that they do to others. That situation answers all questions about the value of corruption. Why don't they want the same thing to happen to themselves? Why are they driven to dominate? Why doesn't domination solve all their problems? If it doesn't, what does?

Corrupters have to pretend that they have all of their problems solved, because if they don't, power mongering and the resulting domination isn't going to solve them. Afterwards, why do they have to dominate persons who don't want to be dominated, if they have all their problems solved? They are driven by a lot of problems while pretending to have all their problems solved.
