A Conflict With Objective Reality Defines Corruption

There are two states for humans: objective and subjective. The objective state defines life; so the subjective state must exist within the requirements of objective reality.

All corruption is a conflict with objective reality. Corruption is objectively definable in terms of its conflict with objective reality. Yet corrupters assume otherwise. They assume their subjective state of corruption should be the reference for acceptability.

The basic error of corrupt persons stems from their disconnect from objective reality. They have very little awareness of what objective reality is, and they assume it is a corruption.

Corrupters get that way through conflict. They try to resolve their conflicts by prevailing. Objective reality gets in the way of prevailing; so objective reality is viewed as something negative.

Corrupters also assume that everyone should see things the way they do. If objective reality is a problem for them, it must be a problem for everyone. They don't know that uncorrupted persons do not have a conflict with objective reality or that an absence of conflict with objective reality is a requirement for life. So they assume there is something unrealistic about persons who orient life around objective reality.

Since corrupters don't know that there is an uncorrupted alternative to corruption, they expect to get respect for being corrupt. They assume they should be dealt with the same as normal people are dealt with, while they are the equivalent of criminals and cannot be dealt with as if they weren't. Not everything that is wrong can be criminalized through laws, but corruption still has to be coped with as corruption far beyond governmental laws.

There is in fact a contradiction in trying to deal with corrupters in a respectable manner, while corruption is a destruction of life. Corrupters are not respecting the life that they destroy.

The standards that corrupters operate by are not respectable standards. Corrupters try to prevail by dominating. Destructive means are required to prevail by dominating, because people have a right not to be dominated. People cannot live their own lives while someone is trying to dominate them.

To promote corruption, all constructivity must be subverted to create destructivity. The subversion of constructivity is promoted as normal or superior standards by corrupters in their attempts to prevail. The classical example is their use of adhominem attacks as a subversion of criticism.

Criticism is a very important part of developing objective reality and removing corruption from it. Corrupters cannot produce objective criticism or tolerate the result. So they reduce their arguments to subjective attack upon persons devoid of objective reality.

Therefore, the objective state must be clarified. Objective reality is all reality which exists outside of a person's mind. It could be corrupt and subjective reality, but it is objective to other persons than the source.

The use of the term objective reality means the overwhelming unified reality of the universe apart from the conflicts with it. While the conflicts objectively exist, they are not integrated into unified reality.
