The Necessity Of Corruption

June 3, 2021

Persons who rely upon corruption assume corruption is a necessity. If they were relying upon rationality, they would assume rationality is a necessity. Corruption and rationality cannot exist at the same time.

The difference is that rationality destroys nothing, corruption destroys everything. So the necessity of corruption creates a temporary state, while everything gets destroyed. Welcome to QAnon and pathological lying—the ever increasing corruption on the path to destroying everything.

Persons who assumed normalcy was here to stay were living in a bubble. Corruption always was increasing, starting with the biology of hunters and gatherers.

Skipping over Nero and the Nazis, a major step in the progression of corruption destroying everything was conservatives taking over the world in 1981. Their stated purpose was to create "a new normal." They sort of justified it as voters changing their preference to conservatives rather than liberals running their lives. But that would have been a political shift, not a new normal.

Normal is defined by the laws of the universe which no one can defy, not by political preferences. So the terminology was aligned upon the motives of conservatives in transforming existence into a pit of corruption, not objective reality.

Corrupters are right about the fact that things can't keep going the way they are without sustaining the corruption that exists. They are wrong about everything related to that assumption, starting with the need to keep everything going as it presently is. With them controlling power, corruption needs to be sustained.

So the question reduces down to how necessary is it for corrupters to be controlling power. If corrupters are the prevailing influence, then corruption will be the controlling standard. There is no way to change the standard to rationality with corrupters creating the prevailing influence.

But those concepts don't even enter the minds of corrupters when they assume corruption is a necessity. What they assume is that corruption works and rationality doesn't. The assumption that corruption works adds self-righteousness to corruption in addition to the assumed necessity.

The difference is exploitation. Corrupters must feed upon rational constructivity, while they assume that what they feed upon is what they create. Their awareness level is so low that they don't know the difference.

The reason why corruption keeps increasing is because humans keep creating more complex social structures in their attempts to solve problems. The constructive results become tools for mongering power by corrupters.

In other words, it is too easy for corrupters to take over the results produced by rational persons, because corrupters use force and violence as their method of acquiring power. Rationality is vulnerable to being overrun by force and violence.
