Mars only has 1% as much atmosphere as Earth. That means helicopters are not possible on Mars. Yet the latest glamorization of science is the claim of a helicopter on Mars. Gravity wave measurements supposedly measure motion at 100 million times smaller than the vibration of atoms. The measuring devices are made of vibrating atoms. That's like measuring one inch with a ruler than is vibrating 1.6 thousand miles at the frequency of infrared radiation. Carbon dioxide can only absorb 0.16% of the energy entering the atmosphere, because it can only absorb low frequency radiation which is only emitted by cold matter, and cold matter emits almost no radiation. Yet incompetents in science claim it is the only factor heating the atmosphere, producing 33°C temperature increase. They missed the conduction and convection that picks up heat as wind sweeps over the surface of the Earth. Eighth graders studying general science would not have missed the conduction and convection. Energy is defined by the kinetic energy equation, KE=½mv², which was supposedly determined by James Joule stirring water in a wooden bucket in 1845. He only had one data point, while several data points are required, because energy is defined as "that which is conserved during transformations. To be conserved means the total stays the same while components are re-arranged. At least four data points are required to do that. When four data points are evaluated in re-arranging the totals, Kinetic energy equals mv, momentum, not ½mv².
