Conservatives speak in opposites. One of their slogans says, the best defense is a good offense. That means being offensive. It also means speaking in opposites as a defense.

It all starts with being incompetent and mongering power as the solution. Incompetence means not having abstract reality in their heads. Knowledge is abstract. Insufficient knowledge for the purpose is incompetence.

Incompetence must be misrepresented. Speaking in opposites is how that is done. It's a defense against the truth about their incompetence and the corruption needed to monger power. Lying is a defense for incompetence and corruptness.

Incompetent corrupters have truth working against them which always prevails. To combat truth, they need fraud. Fraud is a force which functions as the opposite of the force of truth. Even though truth is a reality, it has the force of the universe behind it. Otherwise, realities and forces are opposites.

How can the ultimate reality, truth, have the opposite of reality, force, behind it? That occurs because the force is the follow up in humans requiring truth to live by. Truth becomes the unquestionable reality required for life. So sustaining life requires a follow-up once truth becomes apparent. It's the follow-up that puts force behind truth.

To combat that consequence, conservatives use fraud to oppose truth. For example, they say they are lowering taxes while they are increasing taxes by burning tax dollars. More simplistically, they say they are promoting basic values, while they are dismantling government and tearing the social order apart. They say they produce common sense while speaking in opposites.

But they actually believe in their frauds. One reason is because they orient their existence around their frauds, which convinces them that the frauds must be truths. About the second time they produce the same lie they have themselves convinced (and nobody else) that the lie is truth.

Fraud puts incompetent corrupters on easy street. So it promotes more incompetent corruption and gets support from incompetent corrupters. The power of numbers then overwhelms rationality. That's how Trump rose to power without the slightest bit of competence and no experience in government. Incompetent corrupters support incompetent corrupters without noticing that competence is relevant to the purposes.
