Trump assumed he had the winning formula which would turn all of his claims into successes. Usually, corrupters have about a dozen formulas to pick from. Trump wasn't up to that level; he only had one formula. It didn't matter—if you've seen one formula, you've seen them all.

Trump was operating by the intimidation formula. It could be expressed in a variety of ways. Trump's assumption was that if you beat someone up, you get a better deal. When he failed to accomplish anything that way, he had no other method of getting his results.

When we saw Trump shun all expertise, advice or explanations, it told us that he was unable to understand complexities. But that isn't the way he was looking at it. He was assuming that all that complexity was a waste of time, because his formula would fix everything without complexities. Persons were "swamp" who produced complexities, because they didn't know any better.

A formula seems like a sure-fire trick to incompetent persons. It allows complexities to be replaced by gimmickry. An absence of knowledge seems to create a dependence upon gimmickry. Gimmickry is an ultra simplification. If complexities are the problem, then gimmickry is the answer.

That's where QAnon came from—a need for gimmickry to replace complexities. There were apparently a wide variety of contradictory claims/gimmicks with QAnon. If one didn't meet the needs of a demanding situation, another might.

A gimmick is slightly different from a formula. After a formula is decided upon, a wide variety of gimmicks are needed to put the formula into practice. Tariffs were supposed to be the gimmick that made intimidation work in redirecting the economy to the benefit of (half of) the U.S. There was a direction problem, as the global economy was moving toward other countries. Changing the direction needed a gimmick.

Lost in the gimmickry applied to formulas is history, science, economics, governmental processes, you name it. Anything complex is for fools, when there is no ability to handle complexities.
