Corrupters assume they can destroy enemies and support friends. That assumption is a main cause of the polarization that is taking over society.

An example is Trump's blocking of economic stimulus payments, because he doesn't want money to go to Democratic controlled state and local governments, which he says are irresponsible. Should not 49% of the people there be Republicans? Is he going to destroy them to get at the Democrats?

Trump is trying to indicate that he is fixing something by bankrupting state and local governments. It's not a proper method of fixing.

That's why Democrats and liberals use a different method of fixing. They do studies, write laws and create social programs. Conservatives are trying to destroy that method of doing things. How adequate can the alternative be, where destroying something is supposed to be fixing something?

It's analogous to chipping stones. Who would chip stones to solve problems if normal technology were available? To chip stones says better technology is not available. Similarly, to destroy as a method of fixing says conservatives do not have a better method of fixing. To destroy to fix is at the level of chipping stones for technology.

Yet conservatives now control the government and one of their purposes to to put an end to the laws and social programs that liberals created. They are trying to say that the problems of society that exist are due to liberals creating laws and social programs, so reducing government to totalitarian fascism is supposed to be the answer.

Homelessness is often the focus. Conservatives are trying to blame liberals for the homeless problem while preventing all efforts to solve the problems and shoving the lower classes out of the economy.

The real reason why conservatives don't want liberals to solve problems is because destroying the lower classes is viewed as an essential part of the conservative ethic. There has to be a test of superiority based upon winners destroying losers.

Conservatives get their support by being winners. What can they win at? Destroying vulnerable persons is the only thing conservatives can win at; so that is what they do.

Conservatives are spewing fake reality due to ulterior motives. They are claiming liberals are stealing their money and squandering it on worthless eaters. How could anyone be stealing money from conservatives when they can't burn enough tax dollars to justify their motives?

Corporations pay almost no taxes any more. Some have been pleading to be taxed more as a sense of social responsibility. Yet conservatives never cease their call for more tax cuts which almost exclusively go to corporations. The obvious purpose is to destroy government funds so they can't be used for social programs.
