It seems strange for conservatives to pretend to be holier than thou, while they fight a war against vulnerable persons and depend upon evangelical Christians for political support, as if Christ were nothing but a political propagandist making sin pay.

Nowhere in that politics is there any evidence of what Christ taught. So here is what Christ taught:

Christ said: (Mat 25:31-46) "I was hungry and you gave me no food. I was thirsty and you gave me no drink. I was away from home and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing. I was ill and in prison and you did not come to comfort me... I assure you, as often as you neglected to do it to one of these least ones, you neglected to do it to me."

Trump degrades everyone but allies. He insists on retaliation against enemies. He lies about immigrants being criminals, calls opponents names, promotes force and violence as a tool and endlessly lies about everything.

Christ said: (Mat 5:38-42) "You have heard the commandment, 'an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.' But what I say to you is: offer no resistance to injury. When a person strikes you on the right cheek, turn and offer him the other. If anyone wants to go to law over your shirt, hand him your coat as well. Should anyone press you into service for one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the man who begs from you. Do not turn you back on the borrower."

Conservatives claim that bleeding the needy is necessary to force them to work.

And of course, the "golden rule" is despised by all corrupters. (Mat 7:12) "Treat others the way you would have them treat you..."

Christ was a social justice warrior who started the cancel culture. When conservatives have a complaint about that it means their purpose is to subvert Christianity, not promote it.

When liberals are accused of creating a cancel culture, the meaning then is defined as social criticism and firing is not done at that level. Administrators abhor social criticism, but they respond to pressure of groups by firing someone as the solution.
