Rationality is the application of reason to the solution to problems. What happens in the absence of rationality? People have to have a method of determining the causes and solutions to problems in the absence of rationality.

Without rationality, the end result determines the rightness and wrongness of everything. The end result is that the victims of evil must be the source of evil, while the perpetrators of evil must be the solution to evil, which is positivism.

Positivism means being positive about evil, not positive about rationality, because rationality is not a values determination, it's an objective determination. A values determination says winning is a measure of rightness. Perpetrators are the winners and the ones who are right where positiveness replaces rationality.

Producing truth is a rationality process. It's determining cause-and-effect relationships. Every step of the process must be evaluated to determine how consequences result from actions. When there is no connection between one thing and another, the end result becomes the determining influence over rightness in place of cause-and-effect relationships.

The end result of evil is that evil creates winners. It is not the end result that should determine what evil is; it should be the methods of getting to the end result that determines what evil is. It takes rationality to make connections between methods and results.

Using end results as a measurement is positiveness. It says winning must be viewed as a good thing, while criticizing the result is a bad thing. How else did the rip off artists acquire the wealth of society and control over the social order? Only by viewing the result as a good thing rather than a bad thing. The critics were the problem, while the rip off artists were the solution.

This is why renewable energy and electric vehicles are endlessly promoted after decades of showing failures and bankruptcies. It is not the technology that is looked at; it is the winners who determine the value and rightness of the technology.

Supposedly, the winners know what they are doing. No amount of criticism of the science and technology can be considered. The reliability is supposedly in the winners walking away with the cash with taxpayers and ratepayers guarantying their success with cost-plus contracts.
