It all began with Id. Id was the brainchild of Willian Carpenter. Willian Carpenter was the last of the phlebotomists. No one needed phlebotomists anymore; so William Carpenter sat around with nothing to do but trying to figure out how to contribute something to the good of man. Id is what he came up with.

Id was a combination of every robotic design, automation technology and artificial intelligence that existed. Id left nothing to human ingenuity. Layer after layer of human activity was put out of commission by Id. Need an automobile? Id produced it. Need a helicopter? Id produced it.

So there were endless persons sitting around with nothing to do. Except, there was a group of persons busy as beavers curing the Green Martian disease. They were planting trees by the millions and burning trees by the millions. All to cure the Green Martian disease.

Id had no ability to cure the Green Martian disease. The cure was not in the robotic designs; it was not in the automation technology; and it was not in the intelligent designs. There was nothing there that would cure the Green Martian disease.

So it was incumbent upon the reds to cure the Green Martian disease. They started out as a group of Ajax salesmen, but they were given the moniker of reds because of their intolerance for green. Their intolerance for green caused them to dig up trees and burn them.

This went on in the background for a hundred and fifty years with the reds getting nothing but ridicule for their absurdities. Then one day a glass blower showed up before the Industrial Activity Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives explaining why everyone got the reds wrong. What people didn't understand is that the reds were curing the Green Martian disease. He learned about this taking a course in hieroglyphics, where ancients portrayed the methods used to cure the Green Martian disease. You have to dig up everything growing and replant it to get rid of the Green Martian disease.

It was the Green Martians who created this problem. They replaced chlorophyll with their own genetics as a scheme to take over planet Earth. Their version of chlorophyll was spreading wild over the face of the Earth. It looks just like normal chlorophyll, but in fact it is a substitute created by the Green Martians.

So everyone was out of work except those who were curing the Green Martian disease. The economy was now based upon curing the Green Martian disease. Anyone who opposed curing the Green Martian disease was out of work.

There was power in curing the Green Martian disease. There were organizations, corporations, governmental bureaucracies, universities and labor unions designed for curing the Green Martian disease. No one had any doubt that the salvation of man was dependent upon curing the Green Martian disease. It was ingrained in the education system, taught at the universities and financed by the government. It was the whole economy and the whole of human activity.

Anyone who opposed curing the Green Martian disease was gone—out of a job and out of existence—a disgrace to the social order. So there was no opposition to curing the Green Martian disease. It was a law of the universe directing human existence.
