The corruption of science and technology is bankrupting everyone. At 5% renewables, the cost of electricity increases by a factor of four (from 5¢ to 18¢ pkwh in California). At 15% renewables, the cost increases by a factor of ten (from 5¢ to 50¢ pkwh in Germany). That's in addition to taxpayers subsidizing renewables.

The lower classes pay the heaviest price. Where electricity should cost $80 per month, it costs $360 per month in California. That's why conservatives and power mongers are getting behind the renewable bandwagon; it's a new way of fighting a war against the lower classes and converting about 90% of society into the lower classes.

A measure of the arrogance and stupidity is the expectation of spending tens of trillions of dollars more on the fraud through the "Green New Deal" and "Modern Monetary Policy". Such schemes show no ability to add and subtract, which is a large part of the problem. Deficit spending requires investment in bonds, which require interest payments, which means more money going to the 1%ers at taxpayers expense.

Taxpayers now days are the lower 90% of society. Corporations pay no significant taxes anymore. They used to pay 60% of federal revenue. One of the reasons is because corporations only pay tax on profit, which is as illusive as a puff of smoke. Corporations burn money to reduce profit taxes, so the lower classes don't benefit from the taxes.

Power mongering is inseparable from a war against the lower classes, because power is dominating, controlling and subduing vulnerable persons. The lower classes need to solve problems, which creates demands upon the power mongers for constructivity, where all they can produce is fakery.

Where the social battle used to be between the haves and have-nots, it's now a war between fakery and constructivity. Modern complexities and technology allow increased fakery to replace constructivity. Fakery increases the cost of everything, which degrades the lower classes and moves money upward to the 1%ers.
